DHAKA: Communications minister Obaidul Quader categorically said that no new tolls will be collected from both national and regional roads and highways.

The minister came up with the observation to the journalists at his secretariat office on Tuesday morning.

He said tolls are currently collected from three roads and highways.

Government will not impose any tolls on the other roads, he added.

But if we build any new roads in future, then we will think about it, he added.
