DHAKA: A man was killed as a bus rammed him in Banani area in the Capital on Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Jabed Ali, 54, a covered van driver of Parjatan Corporation of Mohakhali.

Source said that, A bus of Balaka Paribahan bus knocked him down in the area around 7:30am, leaving him dead on the spot.

Banani Thana Sub-Inspector Maquebul Hossain told banglanews, “Police held the killer bus driver and helper”.

The body was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for autopsy, he added.
