DHAKA: Sajeeb Wazed Joy, son of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, also Bangladeshi Information and communications technology (ICT) consultant, termed BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia and her son, also party’s senior vice-chairman, Tarique Zia liars.

He came up with the observation in a status update in facebook, the most popular social network of the age.

Joy said “Khaleda Zia and her son are liars. They have built their entire political legacy on lies. Even our High Court has ruled that Bangabandhu declared Independence, but Khaleda propagated the lie that Zia did and tried to establish it as the truth. She celebrates her birthday the day Bangabandhu and our entire family was brutally murdered, even though her various certificates show different birthdays, not one of which are August 15.”

“This is not politics. This is just rotten character. She owes the nation and my family an apology,” he further said.

About BNP founder Ziaur Rahman, he said--- “The BNP`s own website says General Ziaur Rahman was the 7th President. He was never elected by anyone. He took over power by force under martial law. Constitutionally and democratically he was never the President of Bangladesh. He was a military dictator.”
