Cop sustains bullet injury in Gazipur

GAZIPUR: A cop sustained bullet injury in Noljani area of the district on Thursday morning.

The victim is- Abdul Halim, 58, a police constable of Gazipur district police line.

Police sources said that the victim went to take prisoners from Gazipur District jail around 9:15am and received bullet injury in mouth and belly with his own gun.

Later, he was rushed to Gazipur Sadar Hospital immediately.

Gazipur Court Police Inspector Rabiul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
