RANGPUR: The indefinite strike of students is underway at Begum Rokeya University, demanding three points in the district on Monday.

The strike has begun from Monday at 10:00am.

The students complained that there is no student’s hostel. Though two dormitories were built but authority kept the hostels shut.

They also demanded to open a cafeteria and transport service.

Following the strike, uncertainty was created on three-day long women development fair in the campus of the university.
