DHAKA: Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) is quizzing Managing director of Sonali Bank Prodip Kumar Datt and ABM Reza, brother of Chief Whip ASM Firoz, for giving loan to Patuakhali Jute Mill violating rules.

After quizzing Sonali Bank Prodip Kumar Datt, ACC assistant director and investigation officer Bahadur Alam is now interrogation ABM Reza.

ASM Firoz is the owner of Patuakhali Jute Mill. He will be quizzed on Monday, said sources concerned.

ACC source said the Chief Whip, with the help of Sonali Bank directorial board, got remission on interest rates over TK 13.5 crore against loan taken by his Patuakhali Jute Mill.
