COX’S BAZAR: Coast Guard personnel held 38 Malaysia-bound people held along with a trawler near Saint Martin’s Island area under Teknaf upazila of the district on Tuesday afternoon.

Of them, five were steersmen and 33 were Malaysia bound people.

Station Commander of Teknaf Coast Guard Lieutenant Quazi Harun-or-Rashid confirmed the matter to banglanews.

They would be handed over to the law enforcers, he added.
