DHAKA: Four female construction workers were injured when a buried cocktail went off on Tilpapara road in Khilgaon area in city on Tuesday.

The explosion occurred at 10:00am.

The injured were identified as Ambia Akter, 35, Ratna, 30, Hironbasee, 35, and Selina, 52.

The victims told banglanews that they were working on road constructions led by Abdul Mazid, at one stage a buried cocktail exploded, leaving all of them injured.

The injured were taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
