DHAKA: Miscreants abducted husband of Bangladesh Environment Lawyers Association (Bela) Chief Executive Syeda Rizwana Hasan in Fatulla area of Narayanganj district.

Rizwana’s husband Abu Bakar Siddique, a lawyer-entrepreneur, was abducted in front of the Bhuiyan Filling Station while he was traveling to Dhaka from Narayanganj by his car.

Quoting family members, Special Branch (SB) Inspector of Narayanganj District (DIO-1) Mainur Rahman told banglanews that a 7-8 members group of miscreants intercepted his car in front of the Bhuiyan Filling Station on Dhaka-Narayanganj link road.

On information, police rushed in and operation is being conducted to rescue the victim, he added.

Abu Bakar Siddique, who is currently working for Hamid Fashion in Narayanganj, was alone in his car when the miscreants intercepted their car.
