DHAKA: A fire broke out at the first floor of Mukti Bhaban in Purana Paltan area of the city on Wednesday afternoon.

Fire Service Control Room sources said the fire broke out around 5:40pm.

Later, two fire fighting units brought the blaze under control within a few time after the fire broke out.
