DHAKA: The government has made a new record on power generation. Some 7,356MW supplied to the national grid on 30th March.

Power Development Board (PDB) Director (Public Relations) Saiful Hasan disclosed the matter.

He said that the previous feat of power generation was 7,138 MW recorded on 29th March, 7032MW recorded on 27th March, 6970 MW recorded on 25th March. Last year, on July 12, PDB produced 6,675MW power.

The PDB Director also said that currently the demand of power is around 6,500-7,000MW during peak hours. There is no difference between demand and supply.
