KUSHTIA: Six personnel of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) were injured in a road accident at Mongalbaria Kanabilir intersection of the district town early Sunday.

The injured are---Suberdar Mahiuddin, Lance Naik Shafiul Islam and Sipahi Halim among four others were admitted to Dhaka Combined Medical Hospital (CMH).

Sources said that a jeep carrying BGB personnel knocked a roadside tree around 3:30am in the area as its driver lost control over the steering, leaving six BGB men injured.

Later, critically injured four BGB men were shifted to Dhaka (CMH) around 8:00am by a helicopter.
