ASHULIA, DHAKA: The fire that broke out at a print factory in Ashulia industrial area, on outskirt of the Dhaka city, is now under control on Monday morning.
The fire originated from electric short circuit at 10:00am.
On information, two units of fire fighters rushed to the spot and doused the fire with the help of factory workers after an hour long effort.
Witness and fire service sources said that the fire originated at a tin-shed establishment of Colour Print factory and soon engulfed the whole factory.
DEPZ fire service senior station officer Abdul Hamid confirmed the matter to banglanews.
Initially, the extent of loss from the fire has been estimated at more than 1-lac.
