PATUAKHALI: A least 15 people went missing when a launch overturned on Kalagachhia River in Golachipa upazila of the district Saturday during a storm.

Launch MV Shathil, carrying 30-40 passengers, were going to Patuakhali from Golachipa and capsized at 3:45pm.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Mahabub Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Concerned people from the local administration are on way to the spot.
