NATORE: At least three people were killed and 10 others injured in a road crash on Dhaka-Natore highway in Hazratpur area under Sadar upazila of the district on Thursday morning.

The identity of the deceased and the injured could not be known immediately.

Natore highway police Officer-In-Charge Masud Parvez told banglanews, “A Natore-bound passenger bus of Keya Paribahan collided head-on with a paddy-loaded truck on the road in the area at 5:30am, killing three people on the spot and injuring others.

On information, district Fire Service and Civil Defense members rushed in, rescued the injured and took them to hospital.

Five of the injured are undergoing at Natore Adhunik Sadar Hospital.
