NATAYANGANJ: District BNP was not permitted for staging rally at Alauddin Khan Stadium in the town for May 14.

District BNP president Taimur Alam Khandaker and general secretary Quazi Moniruzzaman Monir sought the permission from deputy commissioner Anisur Rahman Mia on Thursday afternoon.

Deputy Commissioner Anisur Rahman Mia turned down their appeal saying that the condition in the city is not conducive for arranging such rallies now.

He also requested BNP leaders to arrange the rally early in the next month.
