NARAIL: An indefinite strike, called by District Motor Workers’ Union, is underway in Kalna-Khulna-Jessore route of the district from Saturday morning.
The organization came up with the protest programme to press their demand to stop the locally made shallow pump-run vehicles, known as Nasiman and Kariman, and other illegal three-wheelers plying on the two routes of the district.
The strike caused immense sufferings to hundreds of passengers of the route.
