SAVAR (DHAKA): At least five people were injured in the fire incident at a food product factory in Savar, outskirt of the capital on Sunday afternoon.

Witnesses said that the fire originated in the factory named Badhan Food Products in Hemayetur area around 3:30pm.

Seeing the fire at the third floor of the four-storyed building security men tried to douse the fire and received injury.

Later, the injured were admitted to Jamal Clinic.  

On information, Savar fire service brought the blaze after one hour efforts. 

Savar Fire Service Senior Station Officer Anwar Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.
