DHAKA: Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Pankaj Saran opined said that they had to move forward with everyone.
He came up with the assertion while addressing seventh council of Bangladesh-India Friendship Society at Dhaka University Senate Bhaban in city on Friday afternoon.
Pankaj Saran said, “Today is a historic day for India. The views of general people reflected through the elections. We may not like everyone but we have to move ahead together in this globalized world”.
The high commissioner also said that there is a difference of opinion between us which should be reduced.
Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury, Foreign Affairs Minister AH Mahmud Ali and Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique, among others, delivered their speeches in the program.
