DHAKA: A press conference and Global Innovation through Science and Technology (GIST) demo day awards ceremony will be held on Saturday afternoon.                                  

The programme will begin at 5:00pm at Ballroom-3, Hotel Westin, Gulshan 2, said a press release.                                         

US Ambassador to Dhaka Dan Mozena will deliver speech at the awards ceremony and then participate in the press conference.    

The US State Department and CRDF Global in cooperation with Startup Dhaka will jointly organize the events.

GIST demo day preceded by two days of boot camp to motivate Bangladeshi entrepreneurs starts from May 22 to 24.      

GIST focuses on empowering young science and technology innovators through capacity building, mentoring and networking.
