NARAYANGANJ: Law enforcers nabbed aide of Nur Hossain, prime accused of seven-murder in Narayanganj, for giving shelter and fleeing the country.

Acting on a tip-off, police nabbed the alleged aide, Moshiur, from Benapole border area of Jessore on Tuesday afternoon.

The detainee was also accused in several cases, including drugs dealing.

On May 15, another person was held by the law enforcers from the area in this connection.

Nur Hossain has been fugitive since bodies of seven people, including panel mayor of Narayanganj City Corporation Nazrul Islam and senior lawyer Chandan Sarker were recovered from the Shitalakkhya River on April 30.

Police Superintendent of Narayanganj district Khandaker Mahiuddin confirmed the matter to banglanews.
