FENI: Rail communications to port city Chittagong with the other parts of the country was halted due to derailment of three compartments of a Dhaka-bound container train somewhere in Sadar upazila of the district early Wednesday.
District Railway Police In-Charge Mejbah Alam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
Mejbah said, “Rescue works are underway, train movement will be normal within the shortest possible time after finishing the rescue operation.”
