Teenage boy killed in capital

Dhaka: A teenage boy was stabbed to death on Friday morning in the city’s Hazaribagh area.

The deceased was identified as Shah Paran, 16, son of Abdul Baker of Moneswar Road area.

Hazaribagh Thana police said police rushed to and recovered the body from the house after getting information about the murder.

“Paran was a drug addict,” said SI Kazi Moinul Islam of the police station.

He said the deceased’s family started rushing Paran to Dhaka Medical College Hospital finding him severely injured in his room in the morning. But he died on the way, the SI added.

They found marks of stabs in his body.

The boy’s body was later sent to the hospital morgue.
