DHAKA: A man was killed in a road crash in front of Mirpur University College in city’s Mirpur area on Saturday.

The deceased was identified as Waheduzzaman, 50, son of Abdur Razzaq, residing in Manipur of that area.

His brother-in-law told banglanews that collision of two buses around 11:00am Saturday left Waheduzzaman injured.

Locals rushed him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), he added.

Later, duty doctors pronounced Waheduzzaman dead at around 3:45pm.

Waheduzzaman, an employee of a private farm in Gulshan, was going to the office at that time.

DMCH police camp in-charge Bikash Chandra confirmed the matter to banglanews.
