DHAKA: Nine officials of Bangladesh Railway’s Eastern Zone, including its general manager (GM) Makbul Ahmed and Chief Engineer Mahbubul Haque have been transferred.

Railway ministry information officer Shariful Alam confirmed the matter to banglanews on Sunday noon.

As a routine reshuffle in administration, they were transferred, he added.

Transferred officers are chief managing officer Mihir Kanti Guho, chief mechanical Engineer Abdul Motin and five others.
