DHAKA: Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) will operate drives from Wednesday to ensure selling of hygienic food for 2-crore city dwellers.

Eight check-posts will be setup in 8 entry points of the capital to detect formalin and carbide used fruits and foods as well.

DMP commissioner Benazir Ahmed informed media at a press conference held on Sunday at its media center.
