DHAKA: Recently regularized five High Court division judges took oath at 10:00am Thursday. 

The judges are Justice Ashish Ranjan Das, Justice Mahmudul Haque, Justice Md Badruzzaman, Justice Jafar Ahmed and Justice Kazi M Ejarul Haque Akondo.

Chief Justice M Muzammel Hossain administered the oath at the SC auditorium and Registrar of the Supreme Court AKM Shamsul Islam moderated the programme.

Earlier, President M Abdul Hamid confirmed the appointment of five additional High Court judges on June 9. The president appointed them being consulted with the chief justice.

On June 13, 2012, the president had appointed them as additional judges of the High Court for two years and they took oath on the next day.
