DHAKA: Hundreds of agitated Readymade Garment (RMG) Workers of Tuba Garments locked into a clash with the law enforcers in city’s Badda area on Friday afternoon.

The agitating workers also vandalized several vehicles on the busy road during the clash.

The workers claimed that the clash is a consequence of a demonstration brewed from dissatisfaction of the workers as the authorities of the garments did not pay the dues.

Another worker also claimed that she was not been paid for last three months, so they brought out the demonstration on road to meet their demand.

On information, police rushed to the spot and tried to disperse the workers which triggered a chase and counter chase.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, Officer-in-Charge of Badda Thana MA Jalil said that the law enforcers are in alert position to avert untoward situation.
