DHAKA: Criminals had snatched money from an agent of BKash, a subsidiary of Brac Bank, and shot him in city’s Rampura area Thursday morning.

The victim, Iran Munsi (18), is the owner of Sky International and also a BKash agent.

A witness Sanaullah told banglanews that Iran returned his shop after collecting Tk 1.80 lakh from different BKash agents in the area.

When he came in front of Taher telecom on Arun Road in Rampura 5 to 6 youths tried to snatch the bag of money from Iran.

When he tried to save the money, miscreants shot him and snatched the bag.

Iran was hit by bullets in his thigh. Locals rushed him to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
