NETROKONA: A court here awarded life-time imprisonment to three people in a murder case. 

The convicts are— Jahangir, 25, Sagar Mia, 28 and Shahid Mia, 50.

The court also fined them Tk 50000 each, in default ordered them to serve five more years in the jail.

Additional District and Session Judge Abdul Hamid passed the order Thursday acquitting six others from the case.

Court sources said that the convicts killed one Swapan Mia, son of Golam Maula, in October 27 in 2005, centering a dispute over land properties.
