FROM PARLIAMENT: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at parliament said her government has taken zero tolerance policy to remove terrorism and corruption from the country.

“Law enforcement agency has increased watching and patrolling in roads and waterways by using latest technology to root out terrorism,” she told.

The premier said this in response to a question by lawmaker Shamsul Haque Chowdhury at question-answer session on Wednesday. 

Hasina disclosed that many committees have been formed with Imam (religious leader), Muajjin and local influential people all over the country to tackle terrorism.

Anti-terrorism drives have been operating in related areas, she added.

The PM said government is collecting information from people and detective organizations about terrorists and taking adequate measure on it.
