CHITTAGONG: Customs authorities on Wednesday seized at least 76 pieces gold bars weighting 8.5 kg from Shah Amanat International Airport.

Assistant Commissioner Mashiur Rahman of the airport said that the gold were seized from two passengers of Air Arabia flight from Sharjah, Md Faisal Shikdar and Md Iskandar, those come on June 27 and June 29 respectively. 

The authority recovered 76 pieces of gold bars worth Tk 3.80 crore searching their bag around 12:00 pm, he added.
