DHAKA: Three persons were killed in a road mishap as a covered van knocked a passenger rickshaw van down at Kutubkhali of capital’s Jatrabari at 10:30am Thursday. 

Identity of the deceased could not be known immediately after the accident.   

Witnesses Uzzal and Mamun said that a rashly driven covered van knocked the rickshaw van, leaving three passengers of the van injured.  

They were rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital in critical condition where on duty doctor declared two dead.

Later around 11:15am, another injured man succumbed to his injuries. 

DMCH outpost police in-charge Mozammel Haque confirmed the matter to banglanews.
