SATKHIRA: A passenger burnt to death in Tujulpur area of Satkhira-Jessore highway on Saturday when a gas cylinder of a Shohagh Paribahan bus exploded.

Identity of the deceased is yet to know while six others were critically injured in the explosion.

Witness told banglanews that the incident took place when a Dhaka-bound bus of Shohagh Paribahan knocked a road side tree after losing control around 5:15pm.

Confirming the matter to banglanews Satkhira Sadar Thana Officer-in-Charge Sheikh Atiar Rahman said that the injured passengers have been taken to Satkhira Sadar Hospital.
