DHAKA: The railway authority has taken special measures for safe and easy movements of passengers during the Eid-ul-Fitr.

Like every year, additional compartments will be added and special trains will be introduced to face the load of passengers in Eid.

Railway sources said that additional five compartments will be linked with 41 intercity trains.

Sources added that around 25 thousands tickets will be sold everyday day. 

All types of vacations of railway staffs declared cancelled to provide smooth passenger services, sources added.

Railway Minister Mazibul Hoque told banglanews, “Experiences of problems of previous years have made us cautious in this year. And we are trying to solve those problems by pointing them out.”

“Minister, Secretaries, railway DG, all will work in the field to maintain better passenger services,” he added.
