BRAHMANBARIA: At least 20 people were injured in a clash between two groups of villagers over a trifle matter in Fiderkanti village under Nasirnagar Upazila on Monday night.

Witnesses said that centering a stealing incident, a dispute was going on between Hamid Mia and Jewel Mia. Following the dispute, their supporters locked into clash with lethal weapons and firearms around 9:15pm, leaving 20 injured.

Later, the injured were sent to Brahmanbaria Sadar Hospital and other local hospitals. 

Nasirnagar Thana Officer-in-Charge Abdul Kader confirmed the matter to banglanews.
