MOULVIBAZAR: Bus-truck workers went on 12-hour strike in four districts of Sylhet on Tuesday to meet their three-point demand.
Bangladesh Road Transport Workers Federation called on the strike for 12 hours from 6:00 am that disconnected the districts from Dhaka city resulting severe sufferings to the passengers.
Moulvibazar District Transport Union chairman Md Akhlas Miah confirmed the matter to banglanews.
They also observed strike earlier protesting the termination of 23 workers from Lafarz Surma Cement Company, demand the rescue of Sumnamganj BNP leader Mujibur Rahman and his driver, Sohel, and immediate arrest of the killer of driver Sawpan Jahangir.
