NETROKONA: A young man committed suicide as he couldn’t tolerate the death of his father in Singhergao village of Kendua upazila.

The deceased was identified as Humayan Kabir, 25, son of late Jalal Uddin of the village.

Officer-in-Charge Abhiranjan Dev of Kendua thana said that Humayan killed himself hanging from the roof of a room in his maternal uncle’s house on Monday as he became mentally imbalanced after his father’s death.

Being informed police rushed to the spot and recovered the body.

Later on request, the body was handed over to the relatives without autopsy.

The body of Humayun was buried beside his father’s grave on Tuesday 11:00 am.
