DHAKA: State Minister for Jute and Textile Mirza Azam said that Bangladesh Jute Mills Corporation (BJMC) won’t be made a holding company ever.
He came up with the assertion while talking to journalists after emerging from three-day long conference of deputy commissioners in the city on Thursday.
The state minister said that BJMC has 82,000 staffs so initiatives have taken to resume production in the factories instead of stopping.
Already four textile mills have reopened for production, he added.
