CHAPAINAWABGANJ: Two minors drowned at Fultala village under Shibganj upazila of the district on Friday noon.
The deceased were identified as Munni, 12, daughter of a Masud Rana and Rosy, 12, daughter of a Mehedi Hasan, hailed from the area.
Locals said that Rosy tried to rescue Munni who fell into the pond adjacent to their house while taking bath at noon and also fell into the pond.
Later, locals rescued the bodies, reported banglanews correspondent.
