DHAKA: Communications minister Obaidul Quader said plying of trucks excluding fuel, decomposed goods and garments product-laden truck will be restricted around the country before five-day of Eid-ul-Fitr.

He made the assertion while addressing an inter-ministry meeting at capital’s Engineering Institute on Friday afternoon.

Ministry took the decision to make the journey for people to join with their relatives in own village less hazardous, he added.

Obaidul also said the ministry has cancelled the vacation of the engineers.

Ministers to Rail, Road and Shipping ministries and transports leaders were present in the meeting.
