DHAKA: The CNG stations will remain opened for 24-hour from July 23 at a stretch for ten days during Eid-ul-fitr.

The decision came from an inter-ministerial meeting at Engineers’ Institute of Bangladesh in city on Friday.

Ministry of Power, Energy & Mineral Resources and Telecommunications Ministry will take necessary steps so that the emergency services including gas, electricity and telephone run normally during Eid.

Besides, wreckers will be kept stand by in accident prone area from July 23, even military wreckers would be borrowed.

Ministers of communication, Railway, Shipping Ministry and transport owners joined the meeting.
