BD expats in Malaysia condemn Shakib’s ban

DHAKA: Bangladeshi expatriates to Malaysia condemned the si-month-ban from international cricket to top all rounder Shakib-al-Hasan.

The social organization of Bangladeshi expatriates to Malaysia named ‘Amra Probashi Juba Songo’ in a press release said that Shakib-al-Hasan was a victim of conspiracy. The popularity of the Shakib became a headache of some vested quarters.

They also alleged that Bangladesh cricket can’t be destroyed for the stubborn attitudes of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Nazmul Hasan Papan. Becoming wicked, the BCB boss took such type of decision.

The organization also sought Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s intervention to withdraw ban against Shakib.

President of the organization Harun-or-Rashid Miazi, General Secretary Sohag, Joint Secretary Saderkur Rahman and others signed in the press release.
