LAXMIPUR: A man was killed and another one injured in a road accident in Laxmipur LGED area on Dhaka-Raipur road in the district on Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Helal, 28.

Locals said that a bus rammed a human hauler in the area around 9:00am, leaving the driver of the human hauler dead on the spot and injured its helper critically.

Later, the injured were rushed to Laxmipur Sadar Hospital.

Laxmipur Sadar Thana Assistant Sub-Inspector Amena Begum confirmed the matter to banglanews.
