HABIGANJ: Two persons were killed and two others injured in a road accident in Mirpur Natun Bazaar area under Bahubal Upazila of the district on Sunday noon.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Locals said that a pickup van rammed a Bahubal Upazila-bound auto rickshaw from opposite direction in the area around 12:00pm, leaving two dead on the spot and injured two others.

Later, injured were sent to Habiganj Sadar Hospital.

Bahubal Model Thana Officer-in-Charge Ohidur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
