DHAKA: The main Eid jamaat of Eid-ul-Fitr, the greatest religious festival of the Muslims, will be held at the Jatiya Eidgah, adjacent to the High Court Mazar, at 8:30 am. 

Islamic Foundation in a press release on Friday said that Khatib of National Mosque Baitul Mukarram Professor Maulana Mohammad Salah Uddin will conduct the Eid jamaat as main Imam while Mufti Maulana Mohammad Abdullah will be there as alternative Imam. 

However, five more Eid congregations will be held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque at 7:00am, 8:00am, 9:00am, 10:00am and 11:00am.

The arrangement for Eid congregation for women would be made at the National Eidgah with separate entrance. Besides, separate places would be reserved for foreign Ambassadors and diplomats to offer Eid prayer.
