NARAYANGANJ: Two children died, and 40 others injured in a road accident on Dhaka-Sylhet highway on Monday morning.

The deceased were identified as Hossein Miah's 2-year-old kid

Sahin from Astagram area of Kishorganj district, and Bokul Miah's 6 months old baby Nasimafrom the similar district.

Confirming the matter to banglanews Sub-Inspector (SI) of Araihazar Thana Ahsan said that, “Driver of a Narayanganj-bound bus lost control over steering and the bus plunged into a roadside ditch on the highway, leaving the casualties.”

The injured were sent to local hospitals, he added.
