MYMENSINGH: At least two people were killed and 20 others injured as two passenger buses collided head-on in Jhalua area of Nandail upazila of the district on Monday morning.

The deceased were identified Romela, 30, Hasina, 55, of Haruya area of Ishwarganj upazila. 

 Locals said a rashly driven Kishoreganj-bound passenger bus collided head-on with another bus in the area, leaving one killed on the spot and 20 more injured.

The fatally injured another one succumbed to his injuries on way to hospital.

The rest of the injured were rushed to Ishwarganj Heath Complex.

Of them, two were shifted to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital as their condition deteriorated.
