RANGPUR: A first year student of Rajshahi University killed his friend finding that both were having relation with a same girl.

The deceased was identified as Tushar, student of Rangpur Carmichael College. While the killer is Saiful and residents of Chaudhurani village.

Police said, "Tushar and Saiful were close friends, but none of them knew of having affair with the same girl.”

After discovering the matter on Wednesday, Saiful called Tushar at Pirgachha High School ground around 11:00pm. At one stage of altercation Saiful chopped Tushar with his machete, leaving hims dead on the spot.

Police rushed there after being informed at 3:00am and sent the body to Rangpur Medical College Hospital.

Saiful managed to flee the scene.

Officer-in-Charge of Pirgachha Thana Maqbul Hossain informed

Banglanews that, "The case had not been filed yet, but we are trying to arrest Saiful as soon as possible."
