MYMENSINGH: A five year old boy and his grandfather were killed in a road accident in Kanarampur area at Nandail upazila of the district on Sunday.

The deceased were identified as Raihan, 5, and his grandfather Abu Bakar Siddique, 60.

Officer-in-charge Saiful Islam Farazi of Nandail Model Thana confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said a rashly driven passenger bus crushed into their motorbike in the area at noon, leaving Raihan dead on the spot and Abu Bakar injured critically.

Local rushed the injured to the local Upazila Health Complex where he succumbed to his injuries.
